Between the Folds is a movie that features fine artists and eccentric scientists (from MIT and NASA) that try to reinterpret the world through the medium of paper. The art of origami and intertwining it with design is a large theme throughout the movie. My intent throughout this project is to create negative spaces, the space “between” the lines that are designed to make the viewer believe that these spaces could act as the folding line for origami creations. This project was ultimately assigned to test our skill in having to work with a large amount of text for such a small area of space, and to find the meaning between origami and design. I over came the challenge of this poster through the placement of my text, and also by perfecting the tracking in each individual line.
